Tips to Grow a Healthy Garden

This week we offer some tips on attracting beneficial pollinators to your garden.

Healthy gardens have a healthy ecosystem that depends on beneficial pollinators such as bees and butterflies. You can attract pollinators to your garden by planting flowers and herbs in with your vegetables.

There is a large variety of flowers and herbs that attract beneficial pollinators, including:

  • cosmos

  • zinnias

  • nasturtium

  • calendula

  • sunflowers

  • hyacinth bean

  • anise hiphop

  • amaranth

  • dill & cilantro (if they flower)

  • borage
